Spectra's recent appearance at PCD Paris proved hugely successful on the back of another strong export year.

Staged at the Porte de Versailles in Paris, this was Spectra’s third appearance at the event, with increased visitor footfall drawn to the company’s larger show stand.

The prestigious packaging event, which primarily focuses on the cosmetics and personal care sectors, witnessed high visitor numbers from across Europe and beyond. With around 500 exhibitors as well as buyers and influencers from across the continent, PCD continues to prove one of the key packaging events on the calendar.

Spectra’s ongoing export successes continue to pay dividends, with last month’s appearance in the French capital illustrating just how far the UK based converter has come in cementing its reputation beyond the UK.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the potential consequences of Brexit, Spectra continue to forge strong footholds across a number of European territories, most notably Germany, Scandinavia, the Netherlands and of course France.

Gary Allard, Export Sales Manager at Spectra, commented, “We have seen visitor numbers to our stand grow at PCD in the last two years and doubling the size of our show stand this year certainly helped us achieve even greater numbers. A bigger presence enabled us to focus in more detail on innovation and sustainability, while still showcasing our extensive standard ranges”.

Spectra’s next European show will be in June when the company will exhibit at Cosmetic Business in Munich. This follows last year’s highly successful return after a three year break.

Gary added, “Our overseas shows not only help us strengthen our growing reputation in Europe, but they also provide us with an excellent opportunity to engage with customers, agents and partners face to face. We’re really looking forward to returning to Munich again”.
